I've been using SparkGoodies as non-food rewards for non-scale AND scale victories. I usually pick out a gold star and list why I'm giving it to myself in the comment section. This keeps me from rewarding myself with food!
SparkGoodies are budget friendly -- they're free!

We all need rewards as motivation - they help us look forward to the work. But don't reward yourself with food. That doesn't get you closer to your weight loss goal and it sets a bad habit.
As my aunt said the other day: You aren't a dog, so don't reward your behavior with treats!
Instead, find non-food rewards such as trips, reading time, shoes, clothes, pool time, pedicure or manicure, spa day, or anything else you want to do or have always wanted to do but never found the time!
I have tried to change my mindset and reward myself with non-food rewards. I have set some goals including kg lost and lenght of commitment to the sparkpeople program. I then chose some small and big rewards to go along with them that do not relate to food but my healthy lifestyle.
Some examples of small rewards I have chose are a new SIGG water bottle, clothes, and a new putter for golf. Some big rewards I have included are a new bike and a trip to mexico.
Give yourself regular little non-food rewards for making good choices and resisting temptation - a new lip gloss, or new single, or a bunch of flowers! Treat yourself to a non-food goodie instead of fast food.
