  • Seek support everywhere you can -- does your hospital have a group? Increase your tool chest in this battle (I feel the surgery is a tool).
I have the surgery in 2009 -- I have regained much of my weight. It starts simple enough, "just one" syndrome -- Just this time will be okay. Follow the food plan Protein first, veggies second, and fruit only if you must. Water Water Water. A friend who had gastric told me, chips and cakes melt into small pieces -- chicken and beef keep you full longer so you eat less. I wish I listened better. If you are big on on-line support groups, there is also www.obesityhelp.com which has groups for the various gastric surgery people. For some receipes and "food porn" there is www.theworldaccordingtoeggfa
