Wild rice contains more Niacin than brown rice & is a good source of fiber. Rice is a low-cost, affordable way to feed an entire family by adding bulk, nutrition, & flavor to meals. Wild rice is not really rice at all, in fact, its a seed. Wild rice is grown in Minnesota and has a nutty taste, chewy texture and even though has 35 carbs it is good for you because of the vitamins & minerals. Add some to brown rice, make a celery and wild rice casserole, with ham, add to soups. Try some.
