I love playing table tennis (ping pong) so I joined a table tennis club and I play 2 times per week. I used to play to win and my whole effort was towards wining each game, wanting to win all the time took away from enjoying the game and my fellow players were my adversaries. Now I just play for having fun and putting all my effort into having fun and making sure that the people I play with also having fun.
My adversaries became my friends and I look forward each week to play with them. I have more fun and I enjoy the game much, much better.
When I want to do cardio, and I don't want to just get on a treadmill and run in a boring straigt line for a certain amount of minutes, I try to run with a purpose. For instance, in sports, or tennis... The other day I played soccer with my boyfriend, even though I am really bad I would rather be running after a ball then running on my own. Tennis is my favorite, I would rather play tennis any day of the week than get on a cardio machine. FUN FUN FUN FUN !!!! looking forward to the weekend.
