I put post its throughout my house and change them weekly. On my bathrooom mirror, "What are you going to do today to meet this week's goal?" On the kitchen counter "12 pounds down, 14 more to go. You can do it", On my night stand, "Great job today! Adequate sleep helps with weight loss" On the wall right next to the door when I leave the house, "Remember, feel free to park further away to get those few extra steps in"
I change these weekly. I focus on what I slacked on last week to make a better habit out of it. Reading them daily reinforces why I am doing this and I don't want to let myself down!

While you're pushing through your workout on the treadmill, elliptical, or whatever it may be, imagine yourself doing something you've always wanted to do or learn how to do.. and SUCCEEDING. This pushes me to want to workout even harder because I know the more I push myself now, the more I'd be able to push myself to finally do what I've always wanted to do.
I imagine myself breakdancing as my workout in my gym's bball court with a little bit of an audience. I've ALWAYS wanted to learn how to breakdance, but never felt like I was in good enough shape to even try. Imagining myself actually doing it makes me want to work that much harder.
