I allow myself one hour each day, usually in the early morning, to have quiet time by myself. I use this time to do my SP coaching, and I think about my day ahead. After my quiet time, I feel ready to take on the challenges of the day.

To find stillness, sit in a quiet comfortable place. Find an even breathing pattern, for instance 3 counts on an inhale and 3 on the exhale. Relax all of your muscles, not forgetting your face. Sit with your eyes closed for a few minutes remembering how your mind and body feel. Practice often enough, so you can summon up this stillness in times of stress.
Besides exercise for stress reduction, I use relaxation recordings. You can find a lot off different ones based on your needs. I find that it helps turn the excessive churning of my brain when I worry.
