Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online.
For all those who have a GPS on their phone (or any other hand held system), look into Geocaching (www.geocaching.com). It makes exercising by walking or cycling into a treasure hunt, giving more purpose and motivation for getting out and doing it. I think there is even a Geocaching Spark Team!!
I first went Geocaching with a Spark Buddy who lives out of state. Now we are even planning regular outings to meet up, and Geocache while we enjoy a brisk walk, and each others' company. There are Geocaches everywhere. Find a friend, start walking, start Geocaching, have fun, and get fit!!
We started geocaching(theres sites online). Most people have gps apps on their phones now. It uses cordinates to find boxes, some have small tokens you take&place in other locations. Whenever were out&kids say"i'm bored" i pull out my phone&see if we can find a close one. You'd be suprized how many are just feet from you!!!
