You put things off? THAT IS PERFECT! Want to go into the kitchen for more food... Just put it off!! Want to get off the treadmill? Just put it off!! Want to have a second helping of mashed potatoes? Just put it off! The best part about putting it off is that we often forget what the plan was!
Set a timer for 15 minutes and choose an activity you are having trouble with. Pull out just what you can do in that 15 minutes. When the timer goes off it is time to do something else. Spend a minute to put it the project away. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish in just 15 minutes.
Instead of sitting at the computer all the time, I set the timer for 30 minutes. When that goes off, I reset it for 5 minutes and do something like cleaning my dishes off to put in the dishwasher. Other things might be walking, doing laundry, or refilling the cat's dishes, etc.
