Members Were Sparked
Before I got into sparkpeople, I just wore XL or XXL clothes as a blanket "solution" to the problem. Now I always look for clothes that are a great fit, and not just bigger than what I really am. This has helped me at the very least maintain my weight loss, because of course if I gain too much weight the new clothing will be unusable in public. Once you go down a size, pack up your larger clothes and donate them to charity or bring them to a resale shop or give them away...whatever! If you do not have a fall back plan of bigger clothes you know you cannot gain the weight back without buying new larger sized clothes. If that doesn't keep you motivated to stay thin, nothing will. Who wants to buy BIGGER clothes?
Buying clothes that are not in my current size but my goal size. The cutest little outfit will inspire you to stay on track. Shopping for my perfect size is my sure way of being motivated and its the most exciting thing when you slip into that lil outfit and look super hot!
