People who ate a warm oatmeal breakfast felt fuller four hours later than those who had cold cereal...the fiber in the oatmeal slows digestion and should keep you full until lunch.
Add 4 walnuts to protect you heart or flax seed. Berries for even more fiber. Steel cut oats are denser. Good Carbs.

    Just started eating it and I agree,MIT keeps me so much fuller than other low sugar, fat or carb cereals. I added 2 tbsp cranberries and 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes to it and then 1/2 cup of almond milk, yum!
I did learn the hard way it doesn't do to well in the microwave, made a real mess. From now on I'll cook it on the stove top as the directions suggested! emoticon
