I am a regular weight lifter/gym goer, but I still do the classic "park as far away from the business as possible". And I try to walk places that aren't unreasonable far apart. Really adds up on my step tracker!

Super Stores(ie Walmart)are a great way to get your exercise in. Ex. Toothpaste then all the way to Food stuff. Back across store to Shampoo, then all the way back to more food stuff, all the way back to pet supply, then all the way back to frozen foods and produce. Check out, then all the way across the parking lot to car(cause you parked as far away as possible)....almost 60 full minutes of walking! 334
