Don't focus on the weight, but rather, focus on making more healthful life choices. Do things like:
reduce your intake of saturated fats;
replace refined sugars with natural sweeteners;
increase intake of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, and seeds;
be mindful of nutrition in beverages (i.e., calories, sugar, fat); and
get more physical activity.
These helped me lose about 50 pounds. It's a no nonsense solution.
