Tell yourself that you are going to exercise for just 10 minutes. Most people can do this. What you will find is that you will do so much more. It works every time for me

  • My son said "mom, just put on your (workout) shoes". I do this with the intention of "only" 10 minutes and today I stretched it to 25 minutes on the treadmill by telling myself to push it just a little longer. emoticon - by KJSHOWARD

  • I use the five minute rule I tell myself I only need do five minutes. Then, five more. Where the energy comes from to keep going always delights me. I can do more than I feel I can! Nice to know. - by NESARIAN
