I have arthritis in my back, therefore I can only walk for shrt periods at a time. I walk 20 minutes, 5 times a day. Thats one of my groups goals. Another group wants 15 minutes of dancing a day. I do the congo line dance while I'm walking for 3 minutes of each 20 minute walk. It gets my walking and dancing in for each day. SWEET!!!!!!!!!244
Walk Daily. I know that sounds simplistic. But especially for those just getting started, walking can be such a good way to get the body moving. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking a little further from the office door, taking a few minutes at lunch to walk around the building!
