turn off the cartoons, get outside! teach your kids how to hoolahoop, pitch a baseball, skip rope or swing.....anything that a child does burns a ton of calories and i bet you will get more of a workout doing it now that we are older!! not only is it healthy, but it makes you smile!!
Cardio Knockout by Kathy Smith is a great workout. The boxing is taught by a pro boxer and features interval training with a skip rope and real boxing punches and moves. The kick boxing segment is also guided by a champion showing authentic kickboxing moves.
These workouts will teach you speed, agility and coordination. They will also show you proper techniques so you won't injure yourself. Includes a brief Tai Chi segment and floor stretches. Just need a skip rope, but it is so intense its safer to try without the rope first.
