Instead of driving to the gym on a snowy day, go sledding with the kids (or even by yourself!). Climbing up the hill over and over is a great way to burn some calories while having fun! Although it might not be as fun as sledding, shoveling is another great way to burn calories on a snowy day!

Have fun and burn amazing amounts of calories by learning a new sport - Hockey! I usually burn between 700-1100 calories during a 60-75 minute session. I don't even realize it because I'm having so much fun! Check your local ice rink for an adult learn-to-play session.
Some rinks/organizations will loan you the equipment you need or check with a used sports equipment store to save money on the equipment.
