Keeping your life organized helps you stay on track w/ other things like exercise & eating healthy. Organize a room in your house or a cluttered garage. By doing this, you'll get a nice workout without realizing it & also get some things done around your house which will make you feel accomplished!

    Downsizing room by room netted Salvation Army 34 carloads of unneeded possessions I had not used in years. Fitness minutes were a bonus

    Sounds good to me. I have started cleaning things out. Slow process but each little bit makes me feel better. Lots more to go but I am up for the task!

    You are so right. Over winter break, husband and I did intense cleaning every day but Christmas. The house is clean all over, Even the garage is clean. We filed the trash cans twice, took a carload to a thrift shop, gave some shelves to a neighbor, and donated books to the library. Who had time for the gym?? I lost 2 lbs!

    I'm organizing today, yah! Husband and I have been staying for a month in our daughter's mountain vineyard in California. The room we have three months' worth (a true winter road trip!) of stuff in is cluttered in 15 seconds if I don't attend to it. Well, today is the day!! Clutter ... away!

    I have some areas at home that are cause for frustration over the organization. Those are minor. However, my desk and any flat surface at my office is my biggest problem. There is no organization and it is very stressful. Wish I could hire one of those professional organizers to come help me get it under control!

    I agree, and I have agreed for years. People are different, and some people function well with clutter, but for me, being organized is the basis for a sane and healthy life. Yikes! You really hit a chord, didn't you?

    When we moved, I got rid of so much good stuff. It was tough, but I'm so glad now. There just wasn't room, so I didn't have much choice to keep everything. Although it does make me grimace when I have to now buy frames, because I unloaded all of my extra ones at Goodwill. Oh well, someone will be blessed.

    Christmas was quite a workout for me....I made 15 trips up and down basement steps carrying decorations....and the same in reverse after Christmas.
Plus my extra fridge is down there so had a lot of running up and down carrying food!

emoticon Cleaning is my major form of exercise. I've learned to embrace my inner obsessive and if moving the couch so I can vacuum and running things up and down the stairs counts, I'm all for it!

    I have been doing this and it feels great... my 9 yr old asks me why do you keep moving so fast in and out of the garage. LOL BUsy as a beaver!
