I listen to my ipod when I workout & I've found that listening to longer songs (4+ mins) at the beginning of the workout & shorter songs (2-3 mins) at the end really helps. If I listen to long songs @ the end when my energy is zapped, it seems like they go on FOREVER & the workout will never end!

Recently I got an android phone. My son suggested Pandora Radio - for the phone - I love it. When I go walking after school I listen to either Waka Waka station or believe it or not Irish Pub Rock Music - and get a variety of tunes that are fast paced and make for an effective cardio walk.311

When I'm running and I want to stop, I tell myself that my body is strong and I can do it. I just need to slow down my breathing by taking some big breaths and lengthen my stride to slow down but continuing to move.312
I ran 2 km tonight by telling myself this (first time ever that I ran for that long).
