System: Fire: Consistency & Motivation: SP Recommendations

Keep in Mind...
... A huge strength of the SP System is that room for failure is built into it. The concept of "two steps forward, one step back" means that as long as you're successful 2/3 of the time, you're still being Consistent! So, if you miss some of your goals every once in a while, don't get discouraged. Just start it back up and keep improving!

... Sometimes you'll reach a plateau where it feels like you aren't improving any more. But recognize that a huge improvement in one area or another could be just around the corner. If you keep doing the system consistently for a long period of time, good things will happen! Be the tortoise, not the hare.

Goal Menu
(For a well-rounded Consistency program, try to choose at least one item from each category)

MOTIVATION

Keep a streak alive.
Add to a photo collection, "vision box" or quote list of your basic motivation.
Reward yourself for increasing levels of Consistency.
Keep a Journal or activity sheet to record your successes and how it makes you feel.

ENVIRONMENT FOR SUCCESS

Prioritize your time. Eliminate things that are unnecessary and take time away from pursuing your goals.
Try a new way of doing the same thing.
Avoid people who may talk negatively about your goals, or who make it difficult to pursue your goals through their actions.

SMART STRATEGY

During the day, do and pay attention to one thing at a time.
