Why is sleep important?
Sleep is a time for rest and healing, neither of which you should deprive yourself of. The right amount of sleep prepares you for the next day's challenges. Without enough, your body and mind will be unprepared. People who don't get enough sleep (including those with sleeping problems) are more likely to encounter stress and any one of a number of related health troubles.

What role does sleep play?
A regular amount of sleep brings mental focus and consistency to your program. The more your body gets into the rhythm of regular sleep, the more the rest of your life can find a similar, consistent rhythm.

What are the elements of sleep?
A Sleepful Environment
The Right, Consistent Amount
Daily Sleep-Friendly Activities
Pre-Slumber Routine
Bedtime Do's & Don'ts

What are the common pitfalls of sleep?
Playing "catch-up" from several days of sleep debt all in one night
Not listening to your body
Ignoring signs of a possible sleep disorder
