We think we treat the Earth well, but do we really? We litter, we don’t recycle, and we drive cars around non-stop. None of this is good for the planet. But since many of the things we do have no short-term effects, we don’t even think twice about it. However, what will the results of our actions mean in 50 years, when our kids and grandkids are in our shoes. Don’t we want them to have a healthy environment to live in, just like we do? If we do not take care of the Earth, what kind of example will that set to our kids and grandkids? They might not understand how important it is take care of the environment. Try and think twice the next time you litter or throw away a recyclable; think about the kind of world you want your family to group up in.
